SSC MTS & Havaldar Syllabus 2024

General Awareness: The broad coverage of the test will be on Social Studies (History, Arts and Culture, Civics, Economics), General Science Geography, and Environmental Studies till class 10th.

Reasoning Ability and Problem-Solving: The Questions will be broadly based on the Alpha-Numeric Series, Analogy, Coding and Decoding, Following Directions, Similarities and Differences, Jumbling, Problem Solving and Analysis, Non-Verbal Reasoning based on Diagrams, Age Calculation, Calendar and Clock, etc.

English Language and Comprehension: To test the candidates’ understanding of the basics of the English language, its vocabulary, grammar, sentence synonyms, structure, antonyms, correct usage, etc., a simple paragraph may be given and a question based on the paragraph may be asked.

Numerical and Mathematical Ability: It includes questions on problems related to Integers and Whole Numbers, LCM and HCF, Decimals and Fractions, Relationship between Numbers, Fundamental Arithmetic Operations and Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Work and Time, Direct and Inverse Ratio, Averages, BODMAS, Simple Interest Will be.

Profit and Loss, Discount, Area and perimeter of basic geometric shapes, Lines and Angles, Distance and Time, Simple graphs and interpretation of data, Squares and square roots, etc.

Age Limit – SSC MTS Recruitment 2024

MTS and Havaldar in CBN (Department of Revenue): The Candidates Should Not be less Than 18 Years of Age and Not more than 25 Years of Age as of 1st January 2024. 

Havaldar in CBIC (Department of Revenue) and a Few Post of MTS: The Candidates Should Not be less Than 18 Years of Age and Not more than 27 Years of Age as of 1st January 2024.

• ST Candidates: 05 Years+
• SC Candidates: 05 Years+
• OBC Candidates: 03 Years+
• PwBD Candidates: 10 Years+

Educational Qualification

Candidates should have Passed the Matric Examination from the Recognized Board on or Before the Cut-Off Date.

SSC MTS Recruitment Exam Pattern 2024

Computer Based Examination will be conducted in Hindi, English, and 13 regional languages viz. Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Telugu and Urdu.

Computer Exam will be conducted in two Sessions, Session-I and Session-II and both Sessions will be mandatory to be attempted.

The Examination will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions. The questions will be set in English and Hindi.

No Negative Marking in Session-I. In Session II, there will be a negative marking of one mark for each wrong answer.
