BSF Constable Eligibility Criteria

Sub-Inspector (Master) – Posts 7

Must have a 12th pass from a recognized board and a Master Certificate from the Water Transport Authority/Maritime Department.

Head Constable (Master) – Posts 35

Must have 10th pass and Serang Certificate from a recognized Board.

Sub-Inspector (Engine Driver) – Posts 4

Must have a 12th pass from a recognized Board and Engine Driver Master Certificate from the Water Transport Authority/Maritime Department.

Constable (Crew) – Posts 46

0th pass from a recognized board and 1-year experience in boating and swimming.

Head Constable (Engine Driver) – Posts 57

Must have 10th pass from a recognized board and second class Engine Driver certificate.

Head Constable (Workshop) – Posts 13

Must have a 10th pass from a recognized board and ITI degree in relevant trade.
